Naomi, Tori, and Mato

Meet the three new characters in the Monster Club! They will be further explained and introduced in the next chapter to come out, but Hannah was sweet enough to draw them for me! Allow me to introduce them a little!
Starting from Left to Right

Naomi: Meet Naomi, a mershark. I won't go into too much about her backstory, but she is a creature of the sea first and foremost, prefering to remain near bodies of water more so than the land. She is different from ordinary merfolk in two ways. Mersharks are the natural leaders of the lesser merfolk for their predatory instincts and abilities. She also has a third form which acts much like Asher's Blood Rage. When she tastes blood, she goes into a frenzy and becomes a shark hybrid of sorts. The only bit about her backstory I will reveal is that she is an old acquaintance of Calypso. (Also, as a side note, Naomi was not created by me, I merely gave her a personality and a story...she was originally designed by Hannah herself).

Tori: Tori is a harpy. Unlike normal harpies though, who have wings for arms, she was born with human like arms as well, making her the cast off of her own kind. She doesn't mind though! Tori can fly faster than an eagle and higher than a falcon. Her free spirited nature make her a wild, but dependable creature. Harpies are unique because they age slower than regular creatures so they can maintain their light build. Her bones are hollow and easily breakable, but her body is unbelievably light and her eyes can see over 200 meters away with ease. Tori is friendly but also cautious, and will quickly take flight if there is trouble.

Mato: You saw him in the last chapter I released, but a little more about him: Mato is a skin walker from a navajo tribe. See, Native American werewolves are not really "werewolves" like we are used to. The Native American equivalent is the Skin Walker, a human with the unique ability to transform into a certain animal at any time...but only for a certain amount of time. Mato, in this case, can become a bear. He was one of 4 brothers, 3 of which were killed by the Dawn Bringers. As such, Mato has an intense hatred for humankind, that's why he acts as the protector of Tori and Naomi. Often silent, and almost always on edge, he's a hard on to read, but he's also very cunning. He's not truly evil...he's just very protective and cautious.

So now you've met the three new characters! Now I know your next big question: "Will they be joining the Monster Club!?" I can't tell you that yet...but rest assured that I have a plan for them. In fact...as I continue to write the story, you're going to see exactly why I created these three in the first place.
