Jelly

.......Before I begin, I would like to say a few words: *ahem* OH MY GOD SHE'S ADORABLE!!
Okay with that out of the way, meat the 3rd member of the mysterious 5 Monster Club members I never mentioned. Her name is Jelly and, in case you couldn't tell...she is a slime or goo as some have taken to calling them. Believe or not I had wanted to add her at the very beginning of Monster Club, but Mika talked me out of it because it was, as she said "a bit too weird." And...at the time yeah, I agreed with her. Jelly seemed to hard to add in and create so we chose against it. But now with Hannah's help and some inspiration from Monster Musume....well we finally brought Jelly to life! Here's the trivia

Bio: A humanoid slime is a rare creature, because they are only born under very rare circumstances. When a pool of natural spring water forms under the roots of a sequoia tree, if the pollen and seed fall into the water, and rest for 7 days in that position, the water will thicken and take on its own consciousness. A slime is then born. No one is sure as to how this is possible, but most attribute it to a miracle of God. Jelly was born under such a sequoia and was bathed in sunlight from the day she was born. Without a form or knowledge of the world, she slithered out from her home under the roots after 3 months and began adventuring. After 2 years of wondering aimlessly in the forest, she came across a village of people. She noticed the children playing and took the form of a child to play as well. At first she was happy, but when the adults of the village discovered her, they were frightened by her appearance and chased her away. Not sure why they reacted so negatively, she stayed close to the village to observe. There she noticed a man and a woman kissing, and Jelly assumed that she could gain friends by making herself look more mature and attractive. She changed her form again, but once more she was chased away. She tried many other tactics and forms to make friends but to no avail. After various failed attempts, she dropped herself into the river rolling past the town, believing she would dissolve in the running water. However, despite the depth of the river, her body was too thick to dissolve. She simply floated down river for miles and miles until she was discovered by Alex as he was fishing in the stream. He pulled her out and gave her a place to stay. At first she was afraid that Alex would throw things at her again, but when he showed no hostility, she became happy and stayed on the farm with him. She acts as the gardener and cleaner for the club as her body can absorb liquid and release it in a purified form and she can digest anything she can dissolve with her body. She lacks intelligence and behaves like a child, but her ability to learn and read emotions and responses makes her a quick study, even to the point she learned to speak after a year with the club.

Trivia
>Jelly is the only member of the club who has never been sketched before by anyone until Hannah tried to.
>She wears a poncho because any other clothes would get soaked by her liquid skin.
>While she is not intelligent, Jelly is capable of understanding right and wrong, and uses this basic knowledge to react to different scenarios
>Being able to reshape her body according to the consistancy of liquid in her body, makes Jelly invaluable for cleaning in tough places and for finding ways into different places. She can even squeeze into a drain pipe for the sink.
>IN THE ORIGINAL STORY she was going to be friends with Annie and Tamil because of her childish nature, and it would have been Calypso who discovered her.
>I created Jelly before I read Monster Musume, but I confess that it wasn't until after I saw Suu in Monster Musume that I finally found the ideas for how to properly approach Jelly's character.
>Jelly has no last name. She was named Jelly because when she first stayed in the Monster Club home, she slept in a jam jar, which made everyone think she resembled jam of some kind.
>IN THE ORIGINAL STORY Jelly's body was used by Calypso to help disinfect wounds like Asher's spit because her body can purify dirty substances
>IN THE ORIGINAL STORY Jelly would not have gone to the beach with the others because she was afraid of the ocean, as being soaked by too much water would dissolve her into nothing
